With the progress that has been happening recently, I plan to have a working Beta online sometime soon. No dates as of yet unfortunately as theres still a large amount of work to be done. Hopefully early May!
I've just finished creating an admin page for people who have admin rights.This should help speed up a few of the backend things, I plan on adding full user control panels and profile editing pages soon, so keep an eye out for that! I have also re-aligned everything in the footer to make it smaller as well as adding the mailing list feature. (Make sure you put your email down!) The mailing list stores a simple cookie so that it remembers if you have put your email down, so it won't ask you again. OH! Another important thing if you're reading this while in development, Make sure you Ctrl+F5 or Mac+R for a full refresh. This will just make sure you haven't cached any old links/images/styles. :)
I made a little mistake about 2 months ago and drove while suspended, which got my car impounded.. I finally got her back! Have a look at the picture :)

Finally incorporated the frontpage / newsfeed into a database, makes things a lot easier to update on the go. Also fixed the drop down menu for logged in users so it's aligned properly. The news page is up, it lists everything in the news database displaying the most recent first. I finally got the search engine online as well, it just searches for news titles at the moment but eventually will search the entire site including profiles!

So far we have an extremely simple profile page up, just prints all the information we store in the database. Currently deciding whether to incorporate usernames or to leave that for a future update. Probably going to stick with the ID's for now. Will update a bit later.

Good news! The Login/Register script now works, the mailinglist script is up too. Probably won't be sending out any mass-mail things until we're near complete. Joy is currently re-working the design as it's pretty average! While she's doing that i'm sorting out the profile page. Trying to get some images sorted and such! Lookout for another update tomorrow!

So while this development stage is taking an extremely long time, I've decided to open the site so you can have a good look around. Please do not register just yet - it's not fully funtional.
So far I've got a basic template and backend online, a functional database. Also going to test out bootstrap and html5boilerplate. Hopefully this goes well!
